KARA IS ONE!!!!!

Kara turned one on Wed., March 5th. Her brothers and I took her to Publix and they picked out a special princess balloon for her. We put it on the mailbox because they wanted everyone to know it was her birthday. We also made her some very special pink cupcakes with sprinkles on top. Later in the day, my friend Kara (Kara's Godmother) met us at TOYS R US and we all walked around and the boys picked out a very special toy for their sister. That night, Cyn Cyn joined us for dinner and we all sang Happy Birthday to Kara and enjoyed our cupcakes. It was a special day.

On Saturday, we had her big PRINCESS party complete with family and a few close friends. It actually snowed in ATLANTA that day. We couldn't believe it. Daddy did his best impression of "artic grilling" on our deck. She got some great clothes, some great toys, and a very special handmade toy box with her name on it. What a lucky girl. It was a very fun party and we had fun celebrating with everyone.

And, today I took Kara for her one year check up. She did great. She weighed 20lbs 11oz, was 29inches long, and her head was 18 1/4 inches. She is in the 44th% for weight, 48th% for length, and 84th% for head circ. The doctor said she's got a BIG HEAD. He said she was perfect and healthy and so alert and attentive. He told us to enjoy her. She got one shot and she was so brave.

Here are some pictures from the last few days. Enjoy. We love you guys!
